The Arlington Inn & Tavern

The Arlington Inn & Tavern has been transformed from an old house that was built in 1810 to a beautiful inn & tavern located in downtown Winchester, New Hampshire. My family has owned the building since 2007, and always dreamed of turning it into an inn. Our dream started to come true in 2016 when we were able to restore the foundation. Since then the family has slowly been creating your home away from home.

Each room has a special name attached to it pertaining to loved ones in my family. Each of the rooms will house something of theirs to keep their memory going.

Every morning from 7am to 9am breakfast will be cooked for each guest based on what they order that morning.

Daily Housekeeping

Each morning we will be freshening up your room by request. We will make the bed, take out the bathroom trash, and bring fresh towels.

Free Wifi

Wherever you are in the building you will have access to our free wifi.

The Outlaw Brewing Company is a  local brewery located about 3 miles from the inn. The Outlaw Brewing company has a tasting room and outdoor games.

A local distillery in downtown Winchester that is within walking distance from the inn. The New England Sweetwater Farm and Distillery offers a tasting room as well as the opportunity to buy bottles.

In town we have three racetracks for your enjoyment. There is the Monadnock Speedway, NASCAR racing on Saturday nights and mud bogs on Sundays. There is also Winchester Speedpark that offers motocross and supercross racing on the weekends.

Hiking & Biking

Located just a few miles away is a state park with hundreds of miles of trails. Pisgah State Park, the largest state park in New Hampshire, has numerous trails as well as a reservoir to swim in. The 21 miles of rail trail Winchester has to offer, allows you to  hike, bike, snowmobile, and cross country ski.

Swimming & Fishing

Winchester has Forest Lake and the Ashuelot River that offers boating, tubing, fishing, swimming, and has a town beach. All of  these are a few miles away.

We have a beautiful downtown to walk around, offering historic buildings covered bridges to see, and depending on what season it is, we have vibrant autumns and magical winters. We are 15 miles from Keene, NH and Brattleboro, VT, as well as 30 minutes from Mount Monadnock.
